The UK Government’s Test to Release scheme is for those returning via international travel from countries that are not on the UK travel corridor list. As per the Test to Release scheme and International Travel Regulations, providers may only provide or administer tests to international arrivals on or after the fifth full day after the international arrival leaves a destination not on the travel corridor list.
As an arrival, the earliest you can take the test is 5 full days after you were last in a place that is not on the travel corridor list. For most international arrivals this will be on your 5th full day of self-isolation. For further more information about the UK Government’s Test to Release scheme, please see here.
Our Test and Release kits are sent to you via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Once your kit has been dispatched, you will be provided with a tracking number to monitor its delivery journey to your self-isolation address. We dispatch Test and Release kits to arrive promptly on Day 5 of your self-isolation, inline with the UK Government Test to Release requirements.
Please note, if you are trying to track your order, Royal Mail tracking numbers are not currently working.
We will do our very best to make sure that your sample gets to the laboratory safely and securely. As indicated during the purchase of your Test and Release kit, you should receive your kit on the 5th day of your self-isolation or on the day you arrive at your self-isolation address (whichever is later).
We have the following options for returning your sample to us:
All of our Test and Release kits include free sample return pick-up service on your 5th day of self-isolation. A collection will be arranged to pick-up your sample from your self-isolation address during the course of the day between 9am - 9pm on Monday - Friday. There are no collections on Saturdays or Sundays.
Our delivery partner will contact you to inform you of your sample return pick-up time window to pick up your sample. We cannot change this collection slot. If, for any reason, you miss your pick-up time, you must arrange your sample return to the laboratory at your own expense.
Please contact care@projectscreen.co.uk a minimum of 48 hours in advance to let us know if you would like to cancel or no longer require your sample pick-up service.
*Please note that samples arrive at the laboratory the next business day from collection. Delivery to our laboratory is Monday - Saturday. Any collection on a Friday will arrive at the laboratory on Saturday.
*If you choose to return your sample outside of the sample return pick-up service we provide, you agree to do so at your own discretion. We do not accept any liability for delayed results due to late or lost samples.
